Indianapolis 1929 Speedway
This is actual footage from the Indianapolis 500 race in 1929 I just watch the silent movie Speedway and after the movie, Robert Osborn talked about how dangerous racing was and I believe they were timing them at 135 mph. one driver was killed during that race and the man who won it was killed 16 days later in another race. The movie was filmed on location,It was really interesting and I got a kick out of the words they used. and I can see where things spun off thru the years. It was a really good movie almost the 1929 version of talledega nights lol
