Feinstein gun bill confusing, unnecessary
About two-thirds of Americans think "assault weapons" fire faster than other guns, hold more rounds, or use higher-caliber ammunition, according to a recent Reason-Rupe Public Opinion Survey.
Yet, if you read the Assault Weapons Ban of 2013, which was introduced last month by Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), you will see that the firearms she wants to ban are not distinguished by any of those characteristics.
