For the first time in over 15 years Wendell Wallace, aka The Batesville Bullet, from Batesville, Arkansas will be making his return to Riverside International Speedway (West Memphis, Arkansas) as he plans to enter the 5th Annual Midsouth Dirt Track Championship this Saturday night in his #88 Victory Circle M1 Chassis By Moyer Super Late Model. In the late 80's and early 90's Wallace competed their in various rides including the #6 Starr's Cars/Larry Shaw Super Late Model.

Local supporters continue to step up for the Crate Late Models, who are testing the waters in this event. In addition to the $200 bonus posted by Huffman Motorsports for the highest finishing Crate Late Model, Matt Martin has posted an additional $200 bonus for the highest finishing Crate Late Model, and Bobby Martin has thrown in an additional $100 bonus. The highest finishing Crate Late Model will now receive a $500 bonus. As a result, a Crate Late Model driver stands to make at least $900 if they can make the show ($400 to start).

Former Nascar driver, Jeremy Mayfield from Owensboro, Kentucky, will return to the driver's seat this Saturday, October 8th as he pilots the #13 Tucker Motorsports/Parts Plus/Valvoline/Mr. Parts Street Stock at Riverside International Speedway (West Memphis, Arkansas). Gates Open at 5:30 pm and Races begin at 7:30 pm.
