Ris Pulling crate motors
I heard RIS may start pulling crate motors and sending them off to be tech-ed, for repeat 1st and 2nd place drivers sounds good to me if they have a really good new 604 loaner
Re: Ris Pulling crate motors
I thought that Riverside's Latemodels were Crates and Latemodel Stocks mixed together?

1.1 GM part number 88958602 & GM part number 88958604 crate engines only are allowed. These engines are sealed at the intake manifold, cylinder head, front cover, and oil pan. Crate engines must not be altered, modified or change from factory specs. The sealed engines must remain intact and not be tampered with. Any seals that have been removed or tampered with will make the engine illegal and not eligible for competition. The penalty for anyone tampering with seals, modifying any internal engine parts, or changing the parts from stock as delivered sealed from the factory will be subject to expulsion from racing at RIS for the remainder of season.
1.2 103” minimum wheelbase.
1.3 Crate Motor Limited Late Models will run a manufactured jig tube-type full frame, or a combination of stock-type front clip/snout and tube frame.
I will find out more tomorrow I wasnt paying complete attn I was hoping the MOD Duck...lol

Section 18: P&G/Teardown
18.1 All participants are subject to a P&G test at anytime. If a car wins 3 races during the season they will be subject to a P&G test and/or engine teardown. Failure to comply with this rule will result in automatic disqualification, loss of money and points for that night. If a driver/owner refuses to the inspection before the car is allowed to compete again the car/engine will be inspected (inspection may include a engine teardown). The teardown only applies to the “late model stock” engines.
