P.R.O. Super Late Model Series Set For Mississippi Memorial Double
Columbus, Mississippi (05/26/10) – The Promoters Racing Organization (P.R.O.) Super Late Model Dirt Car Series will light up the Mississippi sky this weekend with a pair of big events at Whynot Motorsports Park and Magnolia Motor Speedway.
Last weekend two rounds of racing were scheduled for the tour, but ultimately Mother Nature took the win on Friday at North Alabama Speedway, before David Breazeale blasted to his first P.R.O. tour win on Saturday night at Corinth Speedway in Corinth, Mississippi.
This weekend Breazeale, who is the current point’s leader, will lead a strong contingent of competitors into battle, which will include Kyle Beard, Dean Carpenter, Rick Rickman, Jeremy Glasgow, Brian Rickman, Jason Milam, Mark Dodson, Klint Byars, Ray Mauldin, Bradley Price, Leon Henderson, Neil Baggett, Stacey Caldwell, Roger Shirley, and many more competitors.
The weekend will get underway on Saturday, May 29th at Rodney Wing’s Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, Mississippi. A $2,000 to win, 40 lap event will be on tap. Kajun Mini Stocks, Open Wheel Modified, Street Stock, Pure Stock and Stingers will accompany the program. The driver’s meeting is slated for 6:30pm with hot laps and racing to follow. Grandstand admission for adults is $15 with children 6-12 years of age $10, and 5 and under free. Pit admission is $30. For more information on the event, please visit www.WhynotMotorsportsPark.com .
On Sunday, May 30th, the action will move to “The Black Ice” at Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi for another $2,000 to win, 40 lap program. NeSmith Crate Late Models, Street Stocks, Open Wheel Modifieds, and Mini Stocks will also be on the card. The driver’s meeting will be held at 6:30pm with hot laps and racing action to follow. Grandstand admission for adults is $15, while ages 11-17, active military, and senior citizens is $12. Kids 10 and under are free with a paying adult.
