$1000 to win USCS Modifieds at Clayhill SAT.-August 7th
USCS Modified Touring Series confirms Clayhill Saturday, August 7th race
The USCS Modified Touring Series has moved the August 7th race on their schedule at Clayhill Motorsports in Atwood, TN from the tenative to confirmed column. The addition of the Clayhill Motorsports race will create a USCS Modified Touring Series double-header for the weekend of August 6th and 7th. The traveling USCS open wheel modified series also races at North Alabama Speedway near Tuscumbia, Alabama on Friday, August 6th. Both races will pay $1000 to win.
This also gives drivers who want to test and tune for the 2nd Annual Clayhill Motorsports Open Wheel Modified Motor Madness on August 26th, 27th and 28th. That event pays $5000 to win on consecutive nights making at least $10,000 possible to win for one driver. Full details on that event are online at www.clayhillmotorsports.com
As co-headliners for the USCS Modified Clayhill Motorsports event on Saturday, August 6th are the United Sprint Car Series presented by Goodyear Outlaw Thunder Tour winged sprint cars. It will be their second and final appearance of the 2010 season. Marshall Skinner from West Memphis, AR won the May 31st Memorial Day event when 30 winged USCS sprint cars invaded Clayhill Motorsports for Round Three of the USCS Speedweek 2010.
8/7/10 races pay:
$1000, 600, 400, 300, 200, 175, 150, 125, 110, 100 90, 80, 75 and $75 through last place. Plus $100 to win the USCS Modified Power Dash.
Entry Fees for each event are $25.
Tires: Hoosier IMCA G-60 or American Racer KK704 Tires Must punch 50 durometer hardness at any time.
NO GROOVING OF REAR TIRES....MAY SIPE...OR GRIND ON REARS
(no tech on these items on the front tires)
NOTE: The 2010 USCS Topless option will not be available for either the 8/6/10 North Alabama Speedway or the 8/7/10 Clayhill Motor Sports event. YOU MUST RUN YOUR ROOF!
