P.R.O. Super Late Model Series Thunders Into North Alabama This Saturday

Columbus, Mississippi (03/16/10) – After a hugely successful series’ debut last weekend at Columbus Speedway, the Promoters Racing Organization (P.R.O.) Super Late Model Dirt Car Series will invade North Alabama Speedway in Tuscumbia, Alabama this Saturday, March 20th.

Last Saturday the tour made their debut at Columbus Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) as thirty-eight Super Late Models representing six states entered the event. After a three wide battle for much of the event, Chris Wall from Holden, Louisiana picked up the win.

This Saturday, March 20th the tour will thunder into North Alabama Speedway in Tuscumbia, Alabama for a $2,500 to win/$250 to start, 40 lap event, which will also be co-sanctioned by the NeSmith Super Dirt Car Super Late Model Series. In addition, the Crate Late Model division will be battling for $1,000 to win. For this event only the Crate Late Model division will not be sanctioned and competitors will not be required to pay a membership fee or an entry fee, and any tire that punches 48 or harder is excepted. Also in action will be the Modified Street, Outlaw Street, Mini Stock, and Pure Street divisions.

Grandstand admission for adults is $15 with kids 12 years of age and under free. Pit admission is $30 for adults with kids 7-12 years of age $5, and 6 years of age and younger free. There is no membership fee required to be eligible for the P.R.O. point’s fund, and a driver’s ten best finishes count toward the final point’s standings.

Drivers, who run the P.R.O. Super Late Model Series will also be eligible for the NeSmith Dirtcar Series point’s fund if they buy a $100 NeSmith membership.
