Columbus, Mississippi (07/01/10) – The PRO Dirt Car and NeSmith Super Dirt Car Super Late Model Series opener for the Four Crown Nationals at Greenville Speedway in Greenville, Mississippi was preempted by Mother Nature during the second b-main on Thursday night. With twenty-five Super Late Models, representing four states, on hand for the $2,000 to win event, torrential rains set in with seven laps complete in the second b-main. Track crews hoped to wait the rain out, but over two inches fell in a 45 minute period, forcing the postponement of the event. Series officials and track officials are still trying to work out the logistics for a reschedule, and as soon as a decision is made, a release containing the details will be distributed.
When the event resumes, Bub McCool and Kyle Beard will make up the front row for the 40 lap affair.
