PRO Dirt Car Series To Sanction Jerry Inmon Classic This Friday

Meridian, Mississippi (06/02/10) – After seeing the first shot at the event nixed by Mother Nature, the 1st Annual Jerry Inmon Classic will be held this Friday, June 4th at Central Mississippi Speedway in Winona, Mississippi and will be co-sanctioned by the PRO Dirt Car Series and the NeSmith Super Dirt Car Series Super Late Models.

The event will be highlighted by a $2,000 to win, 40 lap feature event and will serve as Round #5 of the PRO Dirt Car/NeSmith Super Dirt Car tour as well as the first of two appearances for the tour at the high-banked clay oval. David Breazeale from Four Corners, Mississippi continues to sit atop the point standings and will lead a strong contingent of competitors into battle this weekend. Drivers expected to be in action include Anthony Burroughs, Rick Rickman, Brian Rickman, Klint Byars, Dean Carpenter, Jason Milam, Jeremy Glasgow, Ross Camponovo, Mark Dodson, Bradley Price, Ray Mauldin, Neil Baggett, Stacey Caldwell, Leon Henderson, Tombo Callahan, and many more.

The P.R.O. Dirt Car Series and NeSmith Super Dirt Car Series will co-sanction the 1st Annual Jerry Inmon Classic. The driver’s meeting is slated for 7pm with racing action at 8:00pm. Also in action will be the NeSmith Weekly Crate Late Models, Street Stocks, and Mini Stocks. Adult grandstand admission is $15, and pit admission is $30.
